Competition 2021.

The A_MADAM project 15.09.2021. announces opening of "ImPossible design 2021" competition.

The "ImPossible Design 2021" prizes will be awarded for the most creative application of possibilities of 3D printing, additive manufacturing, 3D scanning or a combination of the 3D technologies in the following categories:
- Mechanical design (automotive, aerospace and machine components, and mechanisms)
- Decorative design  (accessories, jewellery, decorations, fashion ...)
- Consumer goods design (home appliances, gadgets, toys, ...)
The most successful solutions will be awarded 3D printers at the winners announcement ceremony during the exhibition “ImPossible Design – A_MADAM”, which will be organised in December 2021.

The motive for organising the competition “ImPossible Design 2021“ is to promote additive manufacturing (the so-called “3D printing“) based on the principle of “layer by layer“ manufacture, which allows the release of designers' creativity and innovativeness in new product development. Additive manufacturing significantly changes the concept of product design, enabling the manufacturing of objects which are difficult or impossible to produce with the use of other technologies.
The aim of this competition is to promote young designers, engineers and architects, as well as to encourage students to model objects of complex shapes by applying 3D software tools.

The competition “ImPossible Design“ is a part of promotional activities of the “A_MADAM“ (Advanced Design for Optimal Dynamic Properties of Additive Manufacturing Products) project, which belongs to the group of “Marie Skłodowska-Curie“ actions within the European Commission's Horizon 2020 programme. All information about the A_MADAM project can be found on mfkv.kg.ac.rs/a_madam/.
